Project Title : AI Chatbot for College FAQs

Objective:
To design and develop an AI-based chatbot that can answer frequently asked questions (FAQs) related to college activities, admissions, courses, fees, facilities, and general student queries.

Technologies Used:

Programming Language: Python / JavaScript

Libraries/Frameworks: NLTK / spaCy, TensorFlow/Keras (for deep learning), Flask/Streamlit (for web interface)

Tools: Dialogflow, Rasa, or custom NLP model

Dataset: Custom dataset of college FAQs and answers

Approach:

Data Collection:

Create or collect a dataset of common student questions and responses related to the college.

Natural Language Processing (NLP):

Use NLP to process user inputs (tokenization, stemming, intent recognition).

Train an intent classification model to understand what users are asking.

Chatbot Design:

Define intents (e.g., admission process, course details, hostel info) and responses.

Use rule-based responses or ML models (like Neural Networks) to generate answers.

Model Training:

Train the chatbot to classify user input into correct intents using ML algorithms or deep learning.

Deployment:

Deploy the chatbot on a website using Flask, Streamlit, or integrate into platforms like Telegram, WhatsApp, or Messenger.

User Interface (Optional):

Design a simple and user-friendly front end for users to interact with the chatbot.

Outcome:
An interactive AI chatbot that provides instant, 24/7 responses to college-related queries, improving communication between students and administration.
