Objective:

To design an IoT-enabled gas leak detection system that monitors gas levels in real-time and provides immediate alerts to ensure safety in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.

 Project Summary:

This project focuses on creating a smart gas leak detection system that uses IoT sensors to detect the presence of hazardous gases such as methane (CH4), propane (C3H8), or carbon monoxide (CO). The gas sensors monitor the air quality, and if dangerous gas concentrations are detected, the system immediately triggers an alarm and sends alerts via SMS, email, or mobile app. The system can also log gas levels over time, providing users with insights into potential risks and allowing for timely interventions.

Key Components:

Hardware: Gas sensor (MQ series), microcontroller (ESP32/Arduino), Wi-Fi/GSM module, buzzer or alarm system

Software: Mobile/Web app for notifications and monitoring, Cloud platform (for data storage and alerts)
